Summertime Stripes

Hello lovelies! I am BACK to discuss this super adorable jumpsuit I picked up from Macy’s! Jumpsuits and rompers are my absolute favorite thing to wear. They are so effortlessly cool and it is quick and easy to look entirely put together as soon as you put one on. I have quite the growing collection of jumpsuits and rompers but I couldn’t say no to this one. The vertical stripes give the illusion that this 5 foot 2 inches girl has some actual height while sliming down my figure. I love the wide bottoms as well. They are a classic touch and add a bit of a 70’s vibe, which is why I decided to go with a middle part for this shoot. Did I also mention the best part… IT HAS POCKETS!

Though the stripes are navy, I do not have a ton of navy accessories so I went with black accents. The jumpsuit cinches in at the waist, the perfect place to add a skinny black belt. To match the black and gold, I went with my trusty Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAC as a clutch. I use this bag more often than I ever thought I would since it is incredibly versatile for dressing looks up as a clutch and down as a crossbody. I definitely think it is worth the investment.

Sticking with the black and gold theme, I added these gorgeous gold necklaces from Maria Pascual. I first heard about the brand from YouTuber Tess Christine and loved the unique pendants and cool designs. I have a weird obsession with maps so I naturally fell in love with the globe necklace and Tess wears the gold horn necklace pretty frequently so I decided to pick that up as well. Finally, these black strappy wedges are my go-to for TONS of summer looks. The black straps combined with the cork heel go with just about anything from jeans to jumpsuits.
